Sponsorship

Self financing of the school by the indigent tribes has its limitations. It is not practical on a large scale. After weighing all factors CDR has decided to raise funds from institutions and individuals for supporting the schools directly. It hopes to build a strong coalition of Sponsor Partners of the tribes of Adilabad for providing quality education to their children.

CDR shall administer the funds as follows.

Funds received from the Sponsor Partner shall be sent directly to the Parents Committees (PCs) of the schools.

The PCs have their own bank accounts. CDR will deposit the funds received into the accounts of the concerned schools.

CDR shall also be responsible for proper utilisation of the money for the purpose it is meant.

CDR shall ensure purchase of quality material.

All expenditure shall be concurrently audited every quarter. The annual audit report shall be sent to the sponsor partners. Details shall also be posted on the web site.

In addition

CDR shall post a half-yearly report of child wise learning outcomes of the school to its Sponsor Partner.

It shall encourage the PCs and the teachers to correspond with their Sponsor Partners.

Photographs of the school and the children shall be sent to all Sponsor Partners.

Annual Cost of a School

The recurring and non-recurring cost of Mava Nate’ Mava Sada for 25 children is as below.

01 Teacher salary @ Rs. 2000 PM	24,000

Cost per child per month excluding one time costs works out to Rs.143.
Cost per child per month including one time costs works out to Rs.193.

The first year cost will be as shown above. The cost for the rest of five years will be only Rs.42,850 per year or Rs.143 per child per month.

A Sponsor Partner can consider adopting a single batch of pre primary class children in one or more schools for six years till the batch completes 5th Standard. Sponsorship amount can be sent annually.
